1300 919 999OZRoll currently has two types of battery controls in the market being the original Control 10 and the improved 18650 E-Port controller.
Over time the Control 10 will be superseded by the E-Port Control. The wall plate for the Control 10 and E-Port Controls are totally different and do not have the same mounting foot print. Therefore for future upgrades where you will require the latest E-Port wall plate you will require a wall plate conversion kit.
To achieve a smooth and clean conversion, the original wall plate is removed. The conversion plate is fixed to the wall using the existing mounting whole positions. The E-Port wall plate is then attached to the conversion plate.
As an added feature there are also multiple “break-out” sections on the side walls of the Conversion Plate. This will allow it to be used as a spacer box if required. The spacer box may be beneficial if extra room behind the wallplate is required for the wiring. It can also be used if conduit is required for an installation on a solid wall.
